Amavubi defender Salomon Nirisarike failed to turn-up as the national football team trooped into camp on Tuesday to start preparations for their Confederation of African Football Championship second round, first leg qualifier against Mozambique on June 4 at Amahoro Stadium.
Rwanda head coach Jonathan McKinstry said, the defender is likely not to play when his team faces Senegal in an international friendly on Saturday and Mozambique.
“This is because he has not appeared for training and is not replying his mobile phone as well as the invitation sent to him, so I will use the players available.” McKinstry added
During the Afcon Group H match against Maurice which ended 1-0 in favor of Rwanda, Nirisairike who plays for Belgian Saint-Truiden, Swiss based Quentin Rushenguziminega and French based Elias Uzamukunda where shortlisted on the squad but did not feature in the 90 minutes of the game.
Uzamukunda is expected to jet on May 30, while Rushenguziminega requested the coach to leave out for this game.
Amavubi will play warm-up game against Senegalese side before they face Mozambique in a do-or-die fixture.

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this
blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot
of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability
and appearance. I must say you have done a excellent job with this.
In addition, the blog loads very fast for me on Chrome.
Outstanding Blog!
