Coach Kayiranga names traveling Amavubi U-20 to Cairo

Coach Kayiranga whose mission is to win if his to realise his mission of cruising to the next round.

Rwanda’s Under-20 football coach Jean Baptiste Kayiranga has named his final traveling squad that is flying to Cairo, late this afternoon Tuesday June 7, for the Second Round return leg of the CAF AFCON against Egypt slated this Friday.

Rwanda lost the first leg 1-0 to the visitors courtesy of a lone goals form Taher Mohammed Ahmed five minutes after the half time break.

However coach Kayiranga whose mission is to win if his to realise his mission of cruising to the next round, has reinforced his squad with striker Blaise Itangishaka from Marines FC and Bugesera FC defender Niyonkuru Amani who missed the first leg due to injury and suspension.

The team departs Kigali at 16:50 and is expected to arrive early Wednesday and they will hold two training sessions that is on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of the game on Friday night with kick-off set for 21h45.

The winner of the tie will face either Angola or Gabon at the final round of the qualifiers that will give birth to seven teams to join host Zambia for the final tournament from 26 February to 12 March 2017.

Kayiranga has named Rayon’s Dominique Savio Nshuti; Vedeste Niyibizi (Sunrise) to bank his attacking forcer in the hope of scoring more than one goal, Rayons duo of up-coming youngster Kevin Muhire and Djabel Manishimwe will be Kayiranga’s key playlers in the central midfield.

Goalkeepers: Jimmy Nzeyurwanda (Isonga) and Bonheur Hategikimana (SC Kiyovu)

Defenders: Patrick Ndikumana (Rwamagana City), Sibomana Arafati (Amagaju FC), Ahoyikuye Jean Paul (Nyagatare FC), Nsabimana Aimable (Marines FC) and Niyonkuru Aman (Bugesera FC)

Midfielders: Muhire Kevin (Rayon Sports), Ngabo Mucyo Fred (AS Muhanga), Manishimwe Djabel (Rayon Sports), Ntwari Jacques (Bugesera FC) and Ntirushwa Aime (Interforce FC).

Forwards: Nshuti Savio Dominique (Rayon Sports), Biramahire Abeddy (Bugesera Fc), Itangishaka Blaise (Marines FC), Yamini Salum (SC Kiyovu), Niyibizi Vedaste (Sunrise FC) and Usabimana Olivier (Marines FC)
