Police officers with heavy duty weapons on Tuesday fired stun guns at people who were demonstrating in front of the building where the legislators work, and later they forcibly entered the building, where the legislators had just passed the law regulating taxis.
The Nation newspaper in Kenya followed the demonstrations to denounce the taxes in 35 of the 47 municipalities that make up the country of Kenya, in small and large cities, including Eldoret, the birthplace of President Ruto.
