Lesotho, 28th August 2023 –Lesotho is set to host the inaugural Lesotho Institutional Investors Forum 2023 in September. Under the theme “Rethinking Investment Returns in the New Normal – Investing for Impact”, the Forum is scheduled for September 7th and 8th. The two-day conference will bring together various stakeholders to engage one another on various issues pertaining to contributing to the sustainable economic development of Lesotho and Africa, through the attraction of new investment and maximizing its impact on the economy.
Lesotho is a unique investment destination with unique challenges, opportunities and threats, and therefore it is important, especially for the benefit of institutional investors, both local and international, to have access to realistic data as far as the state of the economy is concerned. One of the best ways to gain access to updated country-specific data is through participation in stakeholder engagements that are carefully curated to allow maximum interaction and participation.
“We are excited and looking forward to bring the Institutional Investors Forum to Lesothos,” says Michael Ndinisa, Founder and CEO of South African based MNCapital Group, adding that, “We have successfully convened similar forums in Zanzibar, Namibia, Eswatini, and Botswana, and I can confidently confirm that the outcomes have been amazing.”
Ndinisa goes on to note that this Forum has so far attracted the sponsorship of Vodacom Lesotho, and the Circle of Global Business Women as a Supporting Partner. ‘We are honored to have the Global President of the Circle of Global Business Women, Ms. Sindiswa Mzamo, as one of our key speakers.’
MNCapital Group is an Africa-focused investment communications firm synonymous with convening high-impact investment conferences, particularly for the large market actors, and is the convener of this particular gathering.
In the post-pandemic world, local, provincial and national governments across the world are intensifying their economic recovery and development efforts in order to significantly reduce socio-economic challenges that may or may not have been caused by the recent global pandemic, but have been exacerbated as a result. This Forum will present immense opportunities for institutional investors to uncover new investment opportunities and not only achieve desired return on investment, but also generate social impact.
The Inaugural Lesotho Institutional Investors Forum 2023 is designed to zoom in on the state of the economy in order for the participants to learn of the issues impacting the economy and also get an opportunity to map the best way forward.
Participants at this conference will have an opportunity to meet and engage key stakeholders and foster long-term partnerships, discover best practices presented by top industry thought-leaders. Those participating under the speaker category will present professional perspective on topics of their choice, in line with the conference theme. Participants will also network with senior decision-makers and key investment professionals and solidify existing business relations, and make new ones as well.
This conference will feature trustees’ special workshops to improve investment decision making.
Lesotho Institutional Investors Forum 2023 is one of a kind, and will attract guests, speakers, and sponsors from various industries across Africa.
“We also call upon like-minded interested sponsors, delegates and industry players to work with us and make this a success,” concludes Ndinisa.
